About Grailboard

An independent, dated record book of CS2 skin superlatives — sales, offers and listings kept honest.

Grailboard is an independent record book for Counter-Strike 2 skins. We track superlatives — the most expensive skins and knives ever sold, the rarest items in the game, and the milestones in the skin market's history — and we publish each one as a dated, sourced record.

What we do differently

Most “most expensive” lists blur three very different things: a confirmed sale, a refused offer, and an open listing. A record that changed hands for real money is not the same as a valuation built on a bid someone turned down, which is not the same as a hopeful ask sitting on a marketplace. We label every figure with its type and the date we checked it, and where a record cannot be verified, we say so plainly instead of guessing.

We also date the market itself. The skin economy's capitalisation is a moving target that trackers measure differently, so instead of quoting one number we draw the timeline to scale and name the crash and recovery points with their dates.

How we make money

Some outbound links to skin marketplaces are affiliate links: if you buy or sell through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes a record, a rank or a band. Our full policy is on the affiliate disclosure page.

What we will never do

We may cover case-opening and skin-gambling sites, but we never link to scams. A commission never changes a record.

Trademark and imagery

Grailboard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike, CS2 and all in-game item names and imagery are the property of Valve Corporation, used here nominatively to identify and discuss the items on the record. Item renders come from the community catalogue and are served from our own domain; we never present Valve branding as our own.
